After two years of yoga practice, Christina’s first dance experience came with joining Travel Art Dance Company in 2007.  Christina performed with the company in “This one goes out to…” and “Heads Shoulders, Knees, Toes” (2007) as part of their residency at Loop project space and bar, and joined the group again in 2011 for their production of “The Black Rider”.

Christina enjoys exploring space and form through movement, as an extension of her work as an Architect. Improvised dance, and particularly Travel Art’s approach, takes away any inhibitions she may have about not being a trained dancer, and allows her to focus on just the music’s rhythm, the space, and the other dancers sharing it.
