With a strong background in improvisation, Robert only began to consider a career in dance after experiencing the Australian Youth Dance Festival in 2006. Performing the Rock Eisteddfod he won a full scholarship and began his full-time dance training attending the Edge Performers School in 2008. Beginning his Bachelor of Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2009 Robert has since worked with choreographers Neil Adams, Jade Dewi Tias Tunggal, Brett Daffy and Rochelle Carmichael. He has performed with the Ministry of Delight and Erth as well as improvising in The Little Con and with fellow students under the name One Rehearsal Short of Perfection. Robert joined Travel Art Dance Company in 2011.
